Anuj Mehta is a seasoned technology leader with more than a decade of experience helping organizations leverage digital innovation for growth and impact. His expertise spans automation, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, IT strategy, cybersecurity, mobile solutions, and digital transformation.

As Director of Technology and Strategic Alliances at Star Knowledge, Anuj has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s global presence. His leadership has helped establish Star Knowledge as a recognized provider of Microsoft Services and Cloud Migration solutions, with successful engagements across multiple geographies.

Additionally in the past, Anuj’s career includes impactful collaborations with mission-driven organizations. At the University of Illinois, Chicago and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Anuj helped develop augmented reality solutions that used gamification to improve rehabilitation practices and patient recovery, showcasing the practical benefits of emerging technologies.

Passionate about education, Anuj is also working with the Hesdar Center to reimagine teaching practices through technology. His focus is on equipping educators with innovative tools to enhance learning experiences and prepare students for a digital future.

Anuj holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Prof. Ranendra Narayan Saha

Renowned Innovator, Academician & Educational Administrator, widely recognized internationally as a passionate, innovative, and dedicated Teacher, Researcher and Educational Administrator, Professor Saha’s immense contribution of nearly 4 decades in the areas of STEM has been exemplary and worthy of admiration. He served BITS Pilani, an “Institute of Eminence” as recognized by GOI, for over 35 years in various capacities, including Director of International Dubai Campus; Vice Chancellor (Acting) of BITS Pilani and initiated many innovative approaches for Pharma research and Human knowledge development in STEM.

He has inspired and nurtured thousands of successful students creating ripples of impact in India and across the globe. He guided 32 doctoral students and 100+ graduate students with over 150 research publications and authored a book. He pioneered Novel Drug Delivery and Pharmacokinetics Research in BITS, Pilani and has over 15 granted/filed Patents to his credit. He has developed 3 Novel medicines for improved therapeutic efficacy and better patient compliance which were launched successfully in Inida by Pharma Majors. Dr. Saha is presently engaded as The Chief Scientific Advisor of Biophore Group of Companies, Hyderabad to further the Group’s vision of global impact. He is also visiting Professor to various institutes/universities in India and abroad. Professor Saha has received several awards, Chair Professorship and has been an ardent ambassador of STEM travelling to industries and universities worldwide. He wishes to further his legacy by inspiring school students in STEM and would love to work as innovators in industry and academia globally.

Dr. Sabitha M

Dr. Sabitha M, Professor at Amrita School of Pharmacy, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Kochi-682041, India is working in the area of novel drug delivery systems. She joined Amrita in 2000. She has more than 24 years of experience in teaching and more than 14 years of experience in research. She has over 40 Journal publications, 4 book chapters and 1 patent to her credit. She has completed many research projects funded by government agencies like Dept. of Science and Technology, Science Engineering Research Board and Coconut Development Board and has several publications in high impact international journals. For the last 12 years, she is Principal of Amrita School of Pharmacy, an institution that is ranked 10 among the pharmacy institutions in the country in 2023 by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Govt. of India.

During July-August 2010, she received one-month advanced training in the practice of clinical pharmacy at the University of Michigan, College of Pharmacy, United States. Dr. Sabitha’s current research focuses on nanocarrier based brain and corneal drug delivery and mucoadhesive delivery systems.

Dr. P. Jayasekhar

Dr. P. Jayasekhar is the former Dean, College of Pharmacy National University of Science & Technology, Muscat Sultanate of Oman, affiliated to West Virginia University, USA. His illustrious career started in 1982 as a Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences Thiruvananthapuram under the Directorate of Medical Medication Education, and Government of Kerala in various academic positions.

He obtained B.Pharm from Government Medical College Thiruvananthapuram and M.Pharm in Medicinal Chemistry from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nagpur University, and Ph. D in Medicinal chemistry from the University of Kerala. He is an approved research guide of the University of Kerala and was nominated as Chairman, Board of Studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the member of Faculty of Medicine of Universities of Calicut, Kerala, and Kannur. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemists, Kolkata (F.I.C) and served as inspector and expert committee member of PCI, AICTE, and NBA.

Vision Statement – Availability of novel therapeutic products for various treatments and aging global population has increased the need for pharmacists to play an ever-important role in patient care. The academic institutions in West have responded by modifying curriculum, increasing duration of education and awarding PharmD degrees -making it a requirement for pharmacy practice. Many developing nations, including India, have copied the six-year educational program, but it had made little impact on reality of pharmacy practice at the ground level. My vision will be to expand – what I have done during the past decade at my University by providing opportunities for Indian pharmacy students to visit and learn pharmacy practice for the 21st century, to the global arena, so patients all over the world can get benefitted from pharmacist’s knowledge and services.

Served for 22 years from 1985 ti 2007 as Principal JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru.
