Accomplishment 2017-20

  • More than 4500 faculty equivalent trained in FDP’s onsite in about 35 colleges or more
  • More than 5100 equivalent Faculty & students trained in Online mode in Google classes

  • 26th Issue of the Newsletter published for April- June 2024 on 2 April 2024
  • Launch of website & OASDL platform with 40 modules
  • Publication of articles on impact of modular training in IJPER in 2019/20 and poster in Belaku on Online training impact survey. Results are very encouraging
  • MOU between HESDARC & University of Findlay, USA in Nov. 2020 & renewed
  • MOU between HESDARC & Adi Chunchanagiri University India in Jan. 2021 & renewed
  • Certificates awarded after FDPs to faculties of ACU, Amritha University, Cauvery group of Institutions etc for Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Physiotherapy, Engineering, Education & Management faculties
  • Launch of OASDL platform for faculty with free modules: invitation for AB members to use & give feedback
  • Free online 100 modules delivered by BGN on Education, PBL, AA, Soft skills etc.

Initiate certified faculty training program in focused areas: PBL Leadership,
BT & LO’s, Curriculum design etc.

Elements of training of trainers (TOT)

  • Google class room: creation and communication; what to communicate, regular updates
  • Pre & post- test with MCQ’s on the topic chosen
  • Selection of reading materials of 4 to 5 pages each and up-to 2 to 3 articles. No reading material to be more than 6 pages, It must be edited suitably if more than 8 pages
  • 20 to 25 PPT’s for 60 to 90 minutes program with standard fonts, layout and colours.
  • Activities: 01 or 02 activities & guidelines to be incorporated in 60 to 90 minutes session. Each activity to be for 15 to 20 minutes for self-reflection, table discussion and podium presentation
  • Learning outcomes (LO’s) writing & vetting
  • Selection of theme for 4 days FDPs, sub themes for the days and sessions for each day based on need, relevance & effectiveness
  • Formative and Summative Assessments: details will be given
  • Orientation to grading, credits, certification as per international standards
  • Certification only after satisfactory completion: No participation certificates will be given
